A COTA implements occupational therapy services for patients under the supervision of an occupational therapist with services including treatment, standardized assessment data and documentation. Minimum Requirements: Holds an associate's degree as a certified occupational therapist assistant in occupational therapy and/or state requirements. Holds a current state license as an occupational therapist assistant in the state of practice. Maintains current CPR certification.
